Climate:  Mali climate has three main seasons. Rainy season lasts from June to October. The winter season is between October and February, which is followed by extremely hot and dry climate till June. Depending upon the latitudes, Mali climate differs from one place to another. 

People:  The population of Mali is composed of many ethnic groups, such as the Bambara, Tuareg, Dogon, Songhai, Senufo, and Fulani. Each group has its own customs and ways. But Malians are relaxed about their different cultures. 

Religion:  There’s a well-known saying in Mali that the country is “98% Muslim, 2% Christian and 100% animist”, with Islam absorbing traditional practices and allowing people to retain connections with their customary spirituality – providing a formula for religious tolerance. 

Capital:  Mali, officially the Republic of Mali (French: République du Mali), is a landlocked country in West Africa. 

Language:  Mali is a multilingual country. The languages spoken there reflect ancient settlement patterns, migrations, and its long history. Ethnologue counts 50 languages. Of these, French is the official language and Bambara is the most widely spoken.

Currency:  The CFA Franc is the currency of Communauté Financière Africaine.
