Population: The current population of Rwanda is 11,997,205.

Climate: Then from June to mid-September is the long dry season; this is generally the best time to visit if you have the choice. October to November is a shorter rainy season and it’s followed by a short dry season from December to February. During both of Rwanda’s dry seasons, there is often light cloud cover. Rwanda has a temperate tropical highland climate, with lower temperatures than are typical for equatorial countries due to its high elevation. Kigali, in the centre of the country, has a typical daily temperature range between 12 °C (54 °F) and 27 °C (81 °F), with little variation through the year. 

Religion: 56.9% of the Rwanda’s population is Roman Catholic, 26% is Protestant, 11.1% is Seventh-day Adventist, 4.6% is Muslim (mainly Sunni)

Capital: Kigali is the modern capital of Rwanda, and often useful as an overnight stop. 

Language: Kinyarwanda is the national language of Rwanda, and the first language of almost the entire population of the country. It, French, and English.

Currency: The Rwandan Franc is the currency of Rwanda.
