Basic Information About Zimbabwe:

Population: The current population of Zimbabwe is 16,119,412.

GDP: $27.1 billion (2016)

Climate: The Eastern highlands are much colder and receive significantly more rain. During the Wet season, from November to March, rains usually fall in heavy afternoon showers, but they can sometimes be lighter and continuous for a couple of days. The Dry season, from April to October, is pretty much rain free and colder. 

Religion: Most Zimbabweans Christians are Protestants. The Protestant Christian churches with large membership are Anglican (represented by the Church of the Province of Central Africa), Seventh-day Adventist and Methodist. There are about one million Roman Catholics in the country (about 7% of the total population).

Capital: Harare is the capital and largest city.

Language:  English, Shona and Ndebele are the most widely spoken languages in the country. Approximately 70% of the population is Shona speaking and speaks Shona as their first language. Also it is said that around 20% are Ndebele and speak IsiNdebele as their first language.
