Climate:  North Korea has a combination of a continental climate and an oceanic climate, with four distinct seasons. Most of North Korea is classified as being of a humid continental climate within the Köppen climate classification scheme, with warm summers and cold, dry winters. Moderate with four distinct seasons and the hottest time is July to August, which is also the rainy season; coldest is from December to January, winters in the far north can be very severe. Spring and autumn are mild and mainly dry. 

People:  North Korea is racially homogeneous and contains a small Chinese community and a few ethnic Japanese. Other Nationalities are Korean (99.998%) and other (0.002%).

Religion: Traditionally, religion in North Korea primarily consists of Buddhism and Confucianism and to a lesser extent Korean shamanism and syncretic Chondogyo and there is also a Christian minority.

Capital: Pyongyang is the capital city of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, commonly known as North Korea.

Language:  Korean is the official language of North Korea.

Currency:  The North Korean Won is the currency of Korea (North).
