Climate:  Climate of the Philippines is either tropical rainforest, tropical savanna, tropical monsoon, or humid subtropical (in higher-altitude areas) characterized by relatively high temperature, oppressive humidity and plenty of rainfall. It has only two seasons: the wet and dry season. Of course, with the thousands of islands to discover, such as Cebu and Palawan, a summery feel is a requirement for the best trip to this gem in the Pacific. The dry season starts in late November and ends in May. The rainy seasons starts in June and lasts till October.  

People: Most Filipinos are Malayo-Polynesian, a major group within the Austronesian language family. Other ethnic groups form a minority in the Philippine population. These include those of Japanese, Han Chinese, Indians, Americans, Spanish, Europeans, and other ethnic groups from other countries.

Religion:  The Philippines proudly boasts to be the only Christian nation in Asia. More than 86 percent of the population is Roman Catholic, 6 percent belong to various nationalized Christian cults, and another 2 percent belong to well over 100 Protestant denominations.
