 Population: The population of Antigua and Barbuda is 93,140.

Climate: Antigua and Barbuda has a tropical climate but the best time to visit is December to mid-April. 

People: Antiguans and Barbudans are from West African, British, and Madeiran descent. The ethnic distribution consists of 91% Black, 4.4% mixed race, 1.7% White, and 2.9% other (primarily East Indian and Asian). Most Whites are of Irish or British descent. Christian Levantine Arabs, a small number of Asians and Sephardic Jews make up the remainder of the population.

Religion: 74% Antiguans are Christians, with the Anglicans (about 44%) being the largest single denomination. Other Christian denominations present are Baptists, Presbyterians and Roman Catholics. 

Capital: St. John’s is the capital of Antigua and Barbuda.

Language: English is the official language however, the Barbudan accent is slightly different from the Antiguan.

Currency: Antigua and Barbuda use the Eastern Caribbean dollar (EC$).
