Climate:  Spring is usually dry and mild.  May is the warmest month in spring when first heat waves arrives and the temperatures can reach 20-30°C. Thunder season starts in April. Summers are mild, warmer in south and east Estonia, colder on the islands. On some days temperatures can reach up to 30-35°C, but they are usually near 20°C. The warmest month is July, but the maximum air temperature record was recorded in August at 35, 6°C. Thunderstorms can be commonly seen in the afternoon. Autumn is wet and windy. The first half of September can be warm. Many cyclones come across Scandinavia and bring heavy rains with thunderstorm to Estonia. Some storms can cause coastal flooding and winds over 35 m/s. The first snow usually comes in late October or November. It is colder in the East of Estonia and warmer on the coastal areas. The coldest months are January and February: on some nights low can be -35°C. The record low is -43, 5°C. Cyclones bring snowstorms. Sometimes sea effect affects Estonia, bringing more snow. 

People: Estonians 68.8%, Russians 25.5%, Ukrainians 2.1%, Belarussians 1.2%, Finns 0.8%, Tatars 0.2%, Latvians 0.16%, Poles 0.15%, Lithuanians 0.15%, Jews 0.14%, Germans 0.14% and Others 0.68%.

Religion:   Christianity is the largest religion in Estonia accounting 28.06% of Estonians. Eastern Orthodox are the largest Christian group in Estonia, accounting for 17% of Estonia citizens,  while Protestants make up 6%, and Other Christian make up 22%. Non believer/Agnostic account 22%, Atheist accounts for 15%, and undeclared accounts for 15%.

Language:  Estonian, belongs to the Finnic branch of the Uralic languages.

Currency:  The Estonian Kroon is the currency of Estonia.
