Climate:  Kuwait is a desert country famous for its very dry and hot climate. Kuwait shares European weather patterns but is hotter and drier. Summers (April to October) are hot and humid with very little rain. Winters (November to March) are cool with limited rain. 

People:   Kuwaiti 31.3%, other Arab 27.9%, Asian 37.8%, African 1.9%, other 1.1% (includes European, North American, South American, and Australian).

Religion:  Islam is the official religion in Kuwait, with the majority of the citizen population being Muslim. Kuwait has a native Christian community, there are between 259-400 Christian Kuwaiti citizens. There is a small number of Bahá’í Kuwaiti citizens. Most expats in Kuwait are Muslim, Hindu, Christian or Buddhist.

Capital:  Kuwait City is the capital and largest city of Kuwait. 

Language:  Arabic is the official language of Kuwait, but English is widely spoken. It is used in business and is a compulsory second language in schools.

Currency:  The Kuwaiti Dinar is the currency of Kuwait.
