Climate:   While it rains in one part of the island, other areas may remain completely sunny. The low or off season in Bermuda is the winter time between November to March. The temperature varies between high 60s to low 60s. August is the hottest month in Bermuda with an average temperature of 28°C (82°F) and the coldest is February at 18°C (64°F). The wettest month is October with an average of 200mm of rain.

People:  55% of Bermuda population are blacks, 31% whites and rest are Asians and other nationals. Out of the total Bermudian ancestry, British comprises 16%, West Indian 15%, Portuguese 9%, American 7% and Canadian 5%.

Religion:  Religious beliefs in Bermuda. Majority of the population of Bermuda practices Christianity. The Anglican Church remains the strongest with 23% (in 1970 it was 45%), followed by the Roman Catholic Church at 15%, then African Methodist Episcopal at 11%, and Seventh Day Adventist at 7%.

Capital:  The City of Hamilton is not only the capital of Bermuda – it’s also the island’s beating heart.

Language:  English is the official language in Bermuda; however some citizens also speak Portuguese.

Currency: The Bermudian Dollar is the currency of Bermuda.
