Climate:  Fiji has a warm tropical climate perfect for beach side holidays. Maximum temperatures rarely move out of the 31°C (88°F) to 26°C (79°F) range all year round. Southeast trade winds from March to November bring dry weather and the rainy season runs from December to April. 

People:  An amalgam of Indians (46.2%), Fijians (49.9%), ‘part-Europeans’ or half-castes (1.7%), Europeans (0.7%), Rotumans (1.2%), Chinese (0.7%) and other Pacific Islanders (1%).

Religion:  Fiji Religion. A multi-racial, multi-cultural nation, the population of Fiji is made up of significant numbers of followers of all major religions. Visitors will find Christian churches, mosques, and Sikh and Hindu temples throughout the country.

Capital:  Suva is the capital and largest city in Fiji.

Language: Although the official language of the country is Fijian, most people speak English in Fiji and it is the main language.

Currency:  The Fijian Dollar is the currency of Fiji.
